Stop-motion animation puppets from Isle of Dogs on display...

Wes Anderson's latest stop-motion animation feature is set in a dystopian near-future Japan and follows a young boy, 'Atari Kobayashi', on his quest to rescue his dog, 'Spots', who has been sent to Trash Island after a dog flu virus sweeps through the canine population.

This exhibit from the stop-motion comedy were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on March 31, 2018. And sadly although the school classroom set doesn't feature any dogs from the film, it does feature foreign exchange student 'Tracy Walker' and Japanese student activist puppets.

Fans of stop-motion animation can also check out these stop-motion puppets, maquettes and sets from other movies, including animation puppets from 2009's Fantastic Mr. Fox which was also directed by Wes Anderson.
